The mission of the South Central Oklahoma Workforce Board is to enhance the area’s prosperity by helping people and businesses with their workforce needs.

Funding Statement

The South-Central Oklahoma Workforce Board is funded by Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) Title I awards totaling $1,378,330.42. 100% from Department of Labor WIOA Title I funding of the South-Central Oklahoma Workforce Board with 0% financed from non-federal sources.

Website Transition Notice

Effective October 1, 2026, the South Central Workforce Board is no longer operating as a separate local workforce development board and has been absorbed into the Southern Workforce Board.

Workforce services for the former South Central area will continue through the Southern Workforce Board.
