Meet the Staff

Trina Southard is the Executive Director of the South-Central Oklahoma Workforce Board with over thirty years’ experience in Workforce, Community and Economic Development. Trina holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Cameron University in Engineering Technology and an Associate’s Degree in Design Drafting. She is a 2014 graduate of the University of Oklahoma’s Economic Development Institute.
She currently serves as the President of the Oklahoma Workforce Association and the Vice Chair of the Oklahoma Chapter of the 99’s.

Trina Southard, Executive Director

Jana Farmer, Board Monitor

Jana joined South Central Workforce Board in June of 2015 as Board Monitor.  She is a graduate of Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting.  Jana received her CPA certification in 1990.  She worked primarily in the Oil and Gas Industry prior to joining the South Central Workforce Board.  Her primary function for the Board is to review cases for compliance with the Federal, State and Local Area WIOA Title 1 policies and procedures.  In addition to monitoring, Jana is responsible for maintaining the Eligible Training Provider list along with approving programs for training.  She works closely with our Service Provider and Training Providers providing technical assistance and guidance.

Erin Glass, Business Services Coordinator

Erin Glass has lived in the South-Central Oklahoma area all her life. She began working in workforce development as a Talent Development Specialist in December 2020 assisting individuals in reaching their employment and educational goals with the WIOA Title 1 program. She joined the South-Central Oklahoma Workforce Board in August 2021 as Business Services Coordinator. In Business Services she is working to spread the word about the WIOA Title 1 program and how it can benefit both employers and job seekers. She is passionate about people and enjoys being of service and that is why she joined the Chickasha Public Library Board in July 2019 where she currently sits as board president. When she is not meeting with businesses and workforce partners or working to keep library services in her hometown progressive, she enjoys spending time with her husband and 2 children.

Kelly Davis, Business Services Coordinator

Kelly Davis was born and raised in Southern Oklahoma. She attended high school in Comanche, Ok. After high school, she worked in financial institutions before accepting a job in the Oil and Gas industry, with 20 years of experience with Accounts Payable, Asset Accounting and Payroll. She enjoys helping people and looks forward to meeting new people.
She greatly enjoys spending time with her granddaughter and supporting her in all of her hobbies and following her in sports and cheerleading.
As a Business Service Coordinator, she will help businesses throughout the South-Central Oklahoma region on bringing awareness to the WIOA Title 1 program and benefits it provides for both job seekers and employers.

The South Central Oklahoma Workforce  Board (SCOWB) is comprised of leaders in business, the labor community, public education and employment organizations representing Caddo, Comanche, Cotton, Grady, Jefferson, McClain, Stephens and Tillman counties in South Central Oklahoma.

We help job seekers access employment, education, training, and support services to succeed in the labor market and to match employers with the skilled workers they need to compete in the global economy.
